What you provide
The finder asks for a birth month and day, not a birth year or an account. Your browser uses that selection to calculate matching Pokedex numbers. If you copy or share a result link, the selected month and day and the optional Pokemon Day mode are encoded in its URL; anyone with that link can see the selection. The site does not ask you to provide your name to use the finder.
Browser storage and analytics
The finder saves your cry-volume setting in your browser's local storage. On the public homepage, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and finder use, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the page. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers and receive browser, device, and interaction information. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests needed to serve and protect it.
Outside content
When results load, your browser requests Pokemon information and cries from PokéAPI and artwork from the PokeAPI/sprites repository on GitHub. Fonts are served by this site. These providers receive the requests needed to deliver their content and handle data under their own policies. Your choices and contact
You can clear the site's local storage and cookies in your browser, block third-party requests with browser settings or extensions, and choose not to share a result URL. Blocking external requests may prevent Pokemon details, artwork or analytics from loading. For questions or requests about information handled by this project, email support@birthdaypokemon.org.
